Darci was our server for the evening and she was a charm. She was quick with our drinks, appetizers, and constant water refills. The food was pretty good and the portions were also sufficient. The Cornbread and Brussel sprouts are definitely worth a try. The blackened shrimp wedge salad was also quite tasty. This place is definitely worth a revisit for its food, ambience, and service.

What an awesome first time! When I was told southern cooking, I immediately thought shrimp & grits and when I saw it on the menu it was an obvious choice. Dee the bartender was great. Very attentive, very friendly and helpful. Was also great meeting Dave the owner. Will definitely be back.

This was our second time here and we will be back! Came in for brunch on Valentine’s Day, and despite a packed restaurant, Jean (our server) was amazing. Pleasant, and didn’t miss a beat. Had the NoLa BBQ shrimp again and the delicious Chai and Mighty Mocktail, that even my Old Fashioned drinking husband loved. Come and visit! You won’t regret it, especially since now they have Happy Hour Monday -Friday. Which is even more exciting for me as a mocktail lover, bc they do them so well!

Love at First Taste! My experience at Bloom Southern Kitchen was amazing from the moment I walked in. First off, their drink menu is outstanding, especially if you're a fan of whiskey or bourbon. They have a great selection that really stands out. The staff was attentive, personable, and genuinely kind. It felt like they truly cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. The atmosphere was just as impressive. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and even the other customers were friendly and social while still keeping things comfortable and laid-back. The food was absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese deserves a special mention—it was nothing short of epic! I can't wait to stop by again during my son's next practice so I can try more items on the menu. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering giving Bloom Southern Kitchen a try. I highly recommend it!

Update: Still love this place! We ended up coming back for my birthday and went during happy hour—such a great choice. Karston and Kasey at the bar were absolutely amazing. They were the perfect team making their signature Bloom cocktail and even tailoring it to my taste. Super engaging, extremely friendly, and they really make you feel special. We started with the crab cakes, which were very good, but I definitely would’ve liked more than two. The shrimp and grits were also delicious—just could’ve used a bit more andouille sausage to make it perfect. The short rib was fantastic as well, though the sauce was a little strong, almost vinegar-forward, but the mashed potatoes helped balance it out. I had the salmon on my last visit and it’s still my favorite dish so far. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the beignets. On their own, both were great, but together they tasted like a secret menu item—they had no business pairing that well. Overall, this is still one of my favorite places to go and that won’t be changing anytime soon. Great food + great service every time. Whoever hired those two behind the bar deserves a raise. Original post: We discovered Bloom in Chester Springs while going out for our 21st anniversary, and wow—what an amazing find! It’s southern comfort food with a flair, and the decor strikes the perfect balance between homey and chic (and they have the nicest restaurant bathroom I’ve ever seen). Happy hour is definitely the way to go here—you can snag great deals on both food and drinks. Our waitress/bartender Emily was an absolute gem—super sweet, friendly, and attentive. She chatted with us throughout the evening and made a killer mojito. We started with the Nashville deviled eggs, which had a unique seasoning twist that really set them apart. I had the Florida Mango Salmon, quite possibly the best salmon I’ve ever eaten—I’m dying to know the seasoning they use! My husband got the Pimento Cheese Double Smashburger, and it was out of

Bloom Southern Kitchen was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with a nice balance of upscale and comfortable. The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. Whiskey selection is extensive... the drinks were delicious. Everything felt elevated without being pretentious. The service was also a highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that works well for a nice dinner out, a date night, or bringing friends/family when you want something a little special. Definitely one of the stronger dining experiences in the Pottstown area. I’d happily come back and recommend it to others.

Just went to their Penelope bourbon tasting experience where the chef prepared a 5 course (and 5 star) tasting menu to pair with the Penelope line of whiskeys and bourbon. Chef Lily did a phenomenal tasting menu along with drink master (bar manager) John. The wait staff was on point and polite and had excellent pacing for the event! An incredibly complex and complimentary food and drink mixer. The starter was delicious charcuterie paired with a balsamic paper plane-- which was an unusual grapefruit-like and light bourbon cocktail! This was followed by a light caprese salad that paired w a citrusy refreshing kentucky mule. Next was a spicy crab bisque that paired with an equally spicy fat washed old fashioned topped w a piece of brisket Jerky. The prime rib was mouth watering tasty, with delicious herbs, perfect sauce and light mashed potatoes and carrots. The black Manhattan had a good spice to pair with it. The cherry on top was a tiramisu paired with a bourbon carajillo! This was definitely a first for me to have an espresso bourbon based drink topped with a bourbon and marscapone cold foam. Definitely look out for their next special event night, because they take great care and pride in their pairings, and providing great beverage insight and tasting notes! Thank you for a great night!
